Job Responsibilities

As Asia’s leading direct venture platform, Gateway grows a large and diverse network of investors and shareholders. To support the firm’s continued growth, we are looking for dynamic and highly motivated graduates to join our Client Solutions Trainee Program and support our business development and marketing efforts, across direct investors relationships and partnerships with financial platforms. You will report to the Head of Client Solutions & Partnerships and work closely with the management team across all aspects of the business.

Upon completion of the 3 months trainee program, this position has the potential to transition to an Associate role as part of the Client Solutions team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the executive team and across all business functions to deliver innovative solutions in one of the fastest growing asset classes.

Responsibilities:

Upon transition to a Client Solutions Associate role, your core responsibilities will include:

Business Development and Marketing

  • Working closely with the seniors of the team to support business growth and clients engagement in our transactions
  • Bringing ideas, creating pitch decks and marketing materials to introduce our services and products offering to our investors and partners
  • Proactively supporting new clients acquisition efforts on an ongoing basis, by crunching databases, searching opportunities in the market and therefore sharpening your business acumen
  • Providing regular updates on the team’s deals pipeline and the business opportunities identified

Technology & Processes

  • Championing the digital CRM tool for the benefit of the whole company
  • Working closely with internal functions to support client onboarding and end to end transaction execution, as well as propose solutions to streamline internal operations whenever possible
  • Observe the highest standard of compliance with HK rules and regulator’s requirements, actively liaise with internal functions to work within a strong control framework with robust processes to mitigate risk
Qualifications:
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under the pressure of a fast pace and tight deadlines
  • Desire to work as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Ability to run projects autonomously FinTech/Startup experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience in a business development or marketing activity a plus
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (Spoken/Written)
